BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport®  are purified protein products that can used to soften and diminish the appearance of lines around the eyes, forehead, and the areas between the brow.  As skin ages and loses its elasticity, repeated muscle movements from squinting, frowning, and smiling become  more visible in the form of frown lines across the forehead,  creases  around the eyes, and vertical lines between the brows that are sometimes referred to as 11’s.  Dr. Newall will carefully evaluate which muscles are contributing to your facial lines.  By making small injections of  BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® into these muscles, their activity will be reduced,  thereby diminishing the lines caused by their repeated movement.  The effects of BOTOX® Cosmetic and Dysport® typically last for 4-6 months.
