Cheek Implants

These implants add fullness and definition to the cheeks. As one ages, facial fat is lost, causing the face to appear more drawn, gaunt, and aged. Restoring volume to this area gives the face a more youthful, rejuvenated look. Dr. Newall  feels it is preferable  to  add volume to the cheek area through either fat grafting or injectable fillers. In a fat grafting procedure,  fat  is  liposuctioned from other areas of the body,  and injected into the cheeks for added fullness. Injectable fillers such as Juvederm™Plus,  Perlane®, and Restylane®  can also be used to volumize gaunt facial areas.
