In a neck lift procedure, Dr. Newall  gives  the neck a tighter and more youthful contour by  removing sagging skin and excess fatty tissue. He accomplishes this using various techniques.   In some cases, he will use liposuctioning to remove excess fat, while others may require the removal of excess skin to correct sagging.   He may also tighten the neck muscles through a platysmaplasty procedure.  To create a more overall youthful appearance, this procedure is often combined with a partial facelift or BOTOX® Cosmetic.    Recovery time  varies depending on the number of procedures that  are performed.   Stitches are removed in about one week, and most bruising and swelling will reside in  one month.
