More and more patients tell me they love the idea of a Brazilian butt lift, but they don’t want a drastic change that looks out of character for their body. Instead, they want a natural-looking BBL that keeps their figure in proportion while adding soft, flattering curves.

This is particularly true for patients with a slim or athletic build who may be wondering if a Brazilian butt lift procedure is even possible with minimal extra fat to work with. The good news is, with the right technique and realistic expectations, you can enjoy a more lifted and sculpted derriere.

How I Plan for Natural-Looking BBL Results

For me, creating natural-looking BBL results always starts with proportion and balance, not size alone. I look at how your waist, hips, and buttocks relate to each other so your new curves fit the frame you already have.

During surgery, I layer the transferred fat in multiple tissue planes to create smooth transitions and symmetry from every angle. This helps your results blend in with your existing shape and look like a natural extension of your figure.

BBL Techniques for Subtle, Sculpted Curves

Over the years, I’ve developed and refined my own fat transfer techniques to suit different body types and goals, including a power-assisted, continuous-flow method. This roller pump BBL method moves the purified fat gently and efficiently, which supports smooth, even, and long-lasting volume with a much higher fat survival rate than traditional, injection-based BBLs.

For patients with limited donor fat, a “micro BBL” approach uses smaller-volume transfers combined with strategic liposuction and fat sculpting around the waist, hips, and lower back to create the appearance of naturally lifted, fuller buttocks.

Can You Get a Natural BBL If You’re Skinny?

Yes, with the right technique, it’s often possible to achieve a natural-looking BBL even if you’re thin, as long as you have enough donor fat for safe and effective grafting. During your consultation, I will evaluate your fat reserves, skin quality, and body proportions to determine whether you are a good candidate for BBL and which approach will give you the best results possible.
