Otoplasty (ear pinning surgery)

This young girl was embarassed by her ears because they were the first thing she noticed when she looked in the mirror. She wanted to be able to wear her hair up in a ponytail without worrying about drawing attention to her ears. Dr. Newall performed an otoplasty to pin her ears back closer to her head. This procedure can easily be done under local anesthesia.
