Droopiness and puffiness in the upper and lower eyelids can give the eyes an aged and fatigued  appearance and even obscure vision for some. By removing excess skin and  fat in these areas,  Dr. Newall  can help the eyes look more alert, refreshed, and youthful.  Droopy lids are corrected through an incision made in the upper lid crease, while lower lid bags are improved through an incision made just below the lower lash line.  Any scars will be concealed  in the creases.  Eyelid surgery takes about 1-3 hours under general or “twilight” anesthesia.  Stitches are removed in approximately one week, and most patients are able to return to work in 5-7 days.
