He is the inventor of abdominal etching, a liposuction technique used to create an athletic or “rippled” abdomen. Dr. Mentz has traveled with other medical professionals to San Jose to deliver surgical services to underprivileged children in Mexico, Latin America and South America born with cleft lips and palates.
